My work focuses on creative leadership, operational efficiency, and team building to create a forward-looking culture across the entire company driven by innovation, experience and design. (2.5 years) #1 photo and collage editor on mobile, top ranked, Sequoia-funded editing and creativity platform (100M+ MAUs). Grew team from 3 to 30 designers, started UX research program, grew platform from 60M to 100M+ MUAs in two years. Lead UX Design & Research: Google Translate (2 years) Top 10 mobile app download with 600M+ MAUs Redesigned and patented gesture-driven speech UX for conversations. Lead UX for instant camera translation & mobile UX research (US, Brazil, India). Sr. User Experience Designer: Google, Inc. (6 years) Started and launched multiple ground-breaking projects in ads, travel (hotels, flights), leadgen and B2C (finance, banking, autos, mortgages), consumer apps (shopping, social), B2B (China, US, Germany, Europe) and ads/brand innovation & partnership projects. Photography & Visual Design
I live and breathe visual and digital design work. I have been taking photographs since I was 14 years old. My grandfather owned some of the first generation Leica cameras which inspired me to start developing images in my third floor darkroom (about the same time I was trying to code a replica of Asteroids using BASIC which was less successful).
